BioI am from Kentucky, and proud of my redneck lifestyle. I was raised on a farm, and with horses my entire life. I first went to Sturgis at age eight, and feel more comfortable on the back of a Harley or a horse than I do sitting right here in the den of my house. My father is a biker, and a cowboy on the side :), and my fiance is a scholar who comes from a classy kind of Greek family, if such a thing exists. I have been influenced by both which means the following:
I like good food and good liquor. I love my animals, and the men in my life. I enjoy house work, and taking care of my family. Which comes from being raised by (or raising, since he's a kid himself) my dad, and the Greek family I'm marrying into.
I probably have the coolest dad in the world, even though he raised me in biker bars and had ex-marines constantly baby-sitting me instead of the girls next door. He was there holding my hand when I got my first tattoo done, and cheering me on when I got my back piece done. He's buying me my first Harley for my wedding, and is my best friend in all of the world because he encourages me, guides me, and grows with me.
My fiance is the strongest man I've ever known. He's stubborn, smart, and 99% of the time... he's right. Which is probably the most aggravating thing that I have ever known. He accepts that I depend on him, and he depends on me to keep this house functioning. He is the polar opposite my father; very old fashioned, republican, and classy. We don't agree on everything, but at the end of the day, I continue to wake up each morning and love him more than the day before. For four years strong. We'll get married next summer, and I'm so excited to join his family.
I'm blunt, and aggravating, and that comes from being raised by ex-marines and bikers my entire life. So, I apologize in advance if I offend you, by some coincidence.
And lastly, I come on here to have fun, a laugh, and a good time. So if you're one of those people who come here looking for people to be politically correct, you seriously came to the wrong journal. Seriously. Get over it.
